Application and Mounting Tips
1It is best to mark a drilling line approximately 2 cm below the ceiling first.
2If two rails are to be connected end-to-end, mark the joints on the drilling line.
3Next, drill holes for fastening the power clips (5 mm) every 50 cm or so, insert the wall plugs and screw in the power clips. Don’t forget the joints!
4 Finally, press the rails onto the power clips with a light tap of your hand. Please allow a gap at the ends to insert gliders or perlon cords with disk gliders into the rail.
5If the profile at the end of a rail is visible, use end caps for a neat appearance.
6Perlon cords with disk gliders have two functions:
a) They can be inserted directly into the picture rail from the side.
b) In combination with the snake gliders, they can be hooked in at any point along the picture rail (only suitable for Soft-Line).
7Sliding hooks are needed for perlon or steel cords with loops and are inserted into the picture rail from the side.
8Ceiling clip as special accessory, e.g., for mounting in shop windows. Please note: When mounting to ceilings, the rail will not sit flush against the wall.
